web absolve
The web client is a powerful feature of the absolve software suite. Access through a web browser adds a new dimension to the powerful absolve database, enabling more users than ever before to gain access, swiftly and securely to the information that matters to them.
There is no easier solution than web absolve when you need to collect data from remote sources or you need to publish data for access on your company's intranet or internet.
Once configured (almost any Windows server will do) all the pivot tables and InfoBooks that you have created in your desktop version of absolve are immediately available to your users through a browser.
Access to web absolve is gained using the user's normal username and password. Further authentication can also be provided for access to the server, giving an extra layer of security.

Once the user has logged on, the absolve main menu is shown, giving exactly the same access to the pivot tables and InfoBooks (dashboards) as seen on the desktop. There's no extra work to do! If granted permissions, the user can manipulate pivot tables, edit and add data and run reports. Output can be emailed or saved as a PDF file, either manually or automatically.
web absolve is used by a number of companies to collect data from around the world on a weekly, monthly or daily basis. It has been especially useful in Africa where, as some connections are slow, it gives a more efficient option than exchanging large spreadsheets by email.
